Molly Tennis

Having raised four sons overseas with my French husband and lived in Africa and the Arabian Peninsula before moving to France, I have been involved in international education for decades.  As a teacher, parent, coach, and board member, for both public and private international schools, I am invested in education that is learner focused and serves the needs of children and families of diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Originally from Seattle, Washington, I am currently the Director of a Study Abroad program in Strasbourg.  I have been involved with various local associations in the area where I have worked to create opportunities for youth involvement.  After a number of years as the President of Americans in Alsace, with my husband and a group of friends co-founded Young Actors Theater Strasbourg.  I continue to volunteer in the public schools and local community-based organizations such as VETIS.

It is my hope that ADEIS can help support international schools where students love to learn, think and solve problems, where they have fun, work hard to serve their community.
